I am looking for photo's from the company Frans Maas

That site in Manchester is a Builders Merchants now, Ive spent many a Friday sat waiting for my load to come in, also is the depot in Milan the one in Settala If so I used to run out of there to Manchester at the Time the Office staff were
Mario and the other lad One AC the other Inter good blokes who took me to games
Mearco little fella with glasses
Alisandro Juventus Fan
A Ducth Girl call Kristiana I think
Elisibeta

At one time you could park inside the yard but they stopped this and put on Armed security the Guard was about 70 and used to get drunk on Grapa then dance around out side waving his gun about :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

ah yes, Milan, what a dump! First time I went there i was told to leave the trailer inside, but park outside. I parked right near the security hut, not sure how safe it was. There was also a Hogspeed, and another 2 Brit motors, can’t remember who’s. One of the blokes said ‘yes it’s fine parking here, there’s only been a couple of blokes robbed while here’.Needless to say I didn’t sleep well! Any other time i was going there i made sure i was either early enough to get in and out or I would stop en route, hated the place and the ignorant git who ran the UK imports, cant remember his name. We used ot tip there, and reload Vicenza, that was fun on a Friday night!

The Great Yarmouth pic is North Quay, head office. They were going to sell that well before DSV took over, the idea was to get out of Yarmouth and place head office in the new Manchester building. The warehouse in Yarmouth was a couple of miles away at Harfreys, still used by DSV in part, alot of it is rented out now.

Truckboy,

If you ever find out what happened to Ron, let me know, had a few (or many) good nights with him and the lads at the time, there used to be a guy name Graham who ran out of Brownhills with an MAN in the early 90’s, ended up shacking up with one of the office staff (female !!!) in Frans Maas Nettatel, don’t think it worked out from memory, is he still about ■■
