Barking is going back a bit! I am pretty sure their first place was in Dagenham, then moved to Barking, then Tilbury. Yarmouth was head office when it opened. Clive went on to run the Yarmouth transport fleet, before it was closed down.
The fist sub contractor four de depot Frans Maas Groningen was E. Renkema from Oosterhogerbrug neer Groningen. This company drived fist by his one truck and trailers. That was from 1963 till 1965. Then the ex trucks from Frans Maas Venlo became in Groningen and get one from Frans Maas.

In 1963 Frans Maas started an depot at Groningen. Fist at the Wilhelminakade. From here started the company en linehaul to Oldenburg, Bremen and Hamburg. Goupage to Germany and groupage and bear back from Hamburg till Groningen.

Indeed the M.A.N (LEV) belonged to P&O roadways - ORSETT DEPOT.
my father contracted to FM - Brownhills for 5 years.
P&O did the Italian work - mainly haz cargoes. = 4 TRUCKS ALL M.A.N’S
NICHOLLS Mainly Germany.
and ROADWAYS at that time had about 4-5 trucks mainly doing uk dels and the odd trip abroad.
When P&O Orsett closed ALEX ■■■■■■■■ opted to by a new 143M TOPLINE = F260 SMK before purchasing the 143m streamline AGS.
my dad took his lane - job to DABS (KEVIN BRADY) who gave my dad a 141 reg GEO 1X before getting a new 113m = F270 YOM.
DABS later extended fleet in competiion with Nicholls.
Russell Turner was the FM coordinator who gave work out.
SOMASI - was FM italian agent.

Try this, open your picture in photobucket you then need to left click on the IMG Code of your photo in Photobucket. It should then say copied. Then hold down CTRL & press V on where you are posting. This should paste the Image Code on your reply
