I am looking for photo's from the company Frans Maas

Anybody know anything about a black Volvo which I presume pulled out of Great Yarmouth depot, it had ‘Mule Train’ written on the headboard, and I can just make out the name R & A Pitt, or R & A Pill, or R & A Rill, can’t quite make out the surname??

It belonged to ■■■■ Poll from Norwich mate. He had a smallish fleet all very smart and, if I remember correctly, most of his motors were on for Brookes the meat people of Melton pulling fridges. The driver was Barry ■■? from Wymondham and “Mule Train” was his CB handle. I have a photo of it somewhere but can’t find it at the moment, it will turn up when I’m not looking for it probably and I will put it on here. The last I heard of ■■■■ he was living in Spain. Regards Haddy.

Hello,

We see here a old DAF 2800 tractor in duty by Frans Maas at Venlo on the end of the 80’s.

Hello Bert, the revival of your thread has prompted me to post these pictures and a video of some older FM trucks, hopefully they are of some interest
