Malden service area on the northbound side of I-87 in NY has a McDonalds and I noticed that every area that as a McD’s has now coffe available at the fuel forecourt because of their monopoly of such places. Malden has a deli shop open during daytime hours which makes fresh cooked food right in front of you. I recently went in and walked right past McRats to the deli where I got a fresh bacon, egg and cheese hard roll for $2.99 then went to McRats for a coffee (using the McD discount card) asked why I didn’t buy their bacon egg and cheese thing ? I replied “Because this is fresh cooked, not re-heated with some yellow square egg thing and crusty 1 year old bacon and costs less”
about 4 people turned and went to the deli 
I love it when places like McRats gets hurt.
