I Remember seeing a photo of Bill Humphreys Scania 111 “Pink Panther” On EastEnders, It Belonged to Charlie Cotton in the 80s. Does anybody have a Photo? And Does anybody have anymore photos of his other Lorries?
Thanks, One of the best F88s I’ve seen.
These old EastEnders have been shown recently on TV. Pink Panther was on two episodes & Gay Lad was also on two episodes. It was driven by Chris Smith (Mary the Punks dad) not Charlie Cotton. Charlie Cotton later drove a blue DAF2800 which I found out was also owned by Bill Humphreys, when I met him at Gaydon this year.

I Definitely wouldn’t drive a Lorry called that now, Most people won’t. Apparently he renamed it from “Gay Lad” to “Jack The Hat” Because when he went to the Lord Majors Show there was rumours that the Lord Major was Gay.
Does Anybody Have any photos of The 140 and 111 Article in Truck and Driver February 7th 1987?
