Howarth Bros was a well known haulier from the Royton area of Oldham.In 2007 they celebrated 100yrs in haulage, sadly they no longer run transport but they are still involved in trailer hire & van hire from there depot which is next to the old Seddon Atkinson factory at Heyside Royton which they eventually purchased.They also do the circuits round the vintage scene with their F86 & F10 Volvos which have been restored.

John. Did Premier Tankers carry on after Howarth Bros?

Hi Wheel nut. No Premier I think finnished before Howarths packed in.Steve Fairfoul who ran the tank side I think now runs a company called Logic logistic transport (something like that anyway) with his dad Ray.They run Scanias all in white with just the company name on the headboard,they run from the old Sedd Atki site what the howarths own.
