How to revise for case studies

Hello I passed my theory today and want to get the case studies out of the way next but I currently have no idea how to study for this test

Can anyone help as I would really like to get this done with ASAP thank you

I had a the official guide by dsa but to be honest it wernt much help, you are on about Module 2 for the initial CPC aren’t you? Majority of it I found is basic stuff that wernt really hard to answer

do you mean the first part to the cpc case studys test, the secound part of the test being the walk around test. if so theres no real way to study for it. still having your thory test knollage fresh in yr mind will help. i only passed it by 1 point. got 41 and needed 40 to pass it :open_mouth: its a alot like the thory test only it makes you have to think harder as it discribes a situation and asks you what is the best thing to do or what are the biggest dangers.

I do remember there was some taco hours questions in there. like jo leaves the yard at 6am drives for 3 hours gets to the drop off point and has to spend an hour off loading trollys by hand. then has to take a diffrent rout back witch will take 4 hours, what time dose jo get back ?
couse you have to add the 45 min rest time after off loading trollys as off loading is’nt classed as a rest time. so the ansaw is he gets back at 3pm, as it was 3 hours getting there, hour off loading, 45 min rest then 4 hours drive back, some people may forget to add the 45 min rest so thay might think he gets back at 2pm.

think the other one was jo has driven 53 hours from 12 am sunday night. its now friday evening at 6 pm , hes finished work for the weekend. how many hours can he drive next week ?

sorry i can’t be more clear on it than this. but thats the kind of quetions you get, and thay can be worded in a kind of tricky way. think there was some on coming across an acident and whats the best thing to do and in what order you should do them.

like I said the thorys knollage will help alot, and read the questions acoulpe of times over. The one good thing is thay do give you quit alot of time in the test. least i thought so anyway.

I was really worried about the case studies as there was so little information on what to revise, but i sat it Tuesday and passed 50/50
Majority of the questions were common sense and providing you are confident with the theory should be fine. I worked my way through all 50 questions and flagged up about 9 to review as i wasnt 100% sure on them. At the end i went back and re-read the case study and question again broke it down and could then see the right answer, just read everything really carefully!
The books i used were
