So where is their engine plant? Eindhoven, Leyland,Gheel ?

CF/XF both have Paccar engines…utter ■■■■■■ had two fail terminally on me.

Been there several times(Eindhoven) and have never seen any engine plant.
DAF are a bolt together scheme. They buy all the crap from any manufacturer and sort of stick it together.The 75 cab is a renault unit built in Caen.They cant even build their own cabs never mind the engines.

Nothing wrong with bring an assembler of proprietry components. Isn’t this what some of the good old English manufacturers did and they made some cracking motors, ie Foden 4000 series!!.

Well done you got 1 correct ,yes the LF cab is indeed a Renault cab and yes Volvo use it as well…
I have also been to Eindhoven .I’m sure you tube or google would give you the answer…Maybe I saw bits of the factory you never got to see ,or possibly you didn’t know what they where doing .So … DAF do build their own engines ,and they also build their own cabs ,CF XF cabs are built in the factory in Westerloo in Belguim ,and yes I know the XF cab started life as a joint venture …So what other ■■■■■■■■ are you going to come out with ■■? Don’t you get fed up being made to look incompetent ■■? And another small snippet apart from the LF DAF also make their own axles ,again at Westerloo…

Due to the fact it’s a DAF gearbox it’s already retarded,simple solution take it to the tat yard and buy a Volvo I-shift

Cant disagree about the ishift ,but the DAF gearbox is actually a ZF product

Is the software DAF? or ZF? or maybe ZF as specced by DAF? I`d like to know what name to put on the little wax doll I stick pins into every sabbath.
Its a mix of ZF and DAF so you may need 2 dolls
