Anyone recommend a website to look up hgv agency for my local / north west / Merseyside
Do i phone up and put my name down and wait for call or text to get a job right?
Just phone local recruitment agencies tell them you’re an HGV driver and ask them if they have any work available, while on the phone they’ll usually ask about your experience and if they’re interested they’ll arrange for you to go to their office to register.
Registering usually means you providing proof of identity such as passport or birth certificate, your bank details, national insurance number ec’t.

Any idea whats the average wage doing work on agency? Just curious
It varies from agency to agency and agencies will often have different rates for different jobs, someone may know the best agencies in your area to try but I’m afraid it’s not my area so can’t help.
Walk in to the office holding your license in one hand and an ice cream cone in the other.
Slam your license down on the desk so it makes a ’ WHAPPP ’ sound.
Stick the ice cream on your forehead (so that the cone pokes out making you look like a unicorn).
You will get instant work.
