Im just heading to work at 3a.m . I shalk be expecting a tug and a nod. Food must keep going. I am going to do my shopping when im finished as im expecting the shops to be a bit quieter after this announcement.
Might even get some bumhole paper.
I think you’ll be in for a shock on the shopping front. The announcement came relatively late in the evening when people were already settled at home. I expect tomorrow will see people panic buying “essentials” on a far greater scale than happened last week and they’ll be queueing down the road prior to opening.

The-Snowman:
im just waiting on the inevitable “rebels” putting videos on FB or youtube showing themselves flouting the lockdown
I suspect that retailers will flout the ban
From the B&Q website the
An update from Graham Bell, B&Q CEO
The Prime Minister has announced that all non-essential retailers will close to help stop the spread of Covid-19. We have learnt that the DIY and Hardware store sector has been categorised as an essential retailer by the government.
We are now working out the safest and simplest way to support communities in providing only essential products moving forwards.
Our stores, as we prepare, will be closed Tuesday 24th March.
Since when has buying paint and a few nails been a survival priority?
Atm my shift(s) for Tuesday onwards this week haven’t been cancelled so I’m gonna go into work this morning, but I’m anticipating this to change for the rest of the week.

Sports Dotect are staying open too. Gotta pump those essential sports tat garments at 2 for £20 out to help rescue the country…
Then again as a Newcastle supporter I cant say it surprises me one bit.
If people are only allowed out for food and medicine then is there any point? Of course there is because people will go…
Grandads and Dads went to war for the country for a few YEARS without the luxury of a cupboard full food and bog rolls and no contact with their loved ones.Sure we can stay at HOME in safety for a few MONTHS with out the luxuries.

I agree .
But problem is the big greedy company’s who want to open… forcing us to work.
If I could afford to I’d tell work where to go.
And can’t get this 80%pay unless company shuts down. Which they won’t as long as there’s work.

Sports Direct? Not noted for it’s generous terms for workers were on R4 this morning justifying why they should continue trading.
Same programme reported estate agents acting for landlords telling tenants, even at risk, to allow in buyers!
(BBC R4 about 06hr30)
If you disobey Boris watch out, the SAPS (self appointed Police service) are on the case. :
They can’t go on the roads and motorways anymore monitoring and marshalling our driving,.so they’ve nowt to do…so beware.
Watching Sky News this morning, that Michael F.Gove MP (you can guess his middle name ) was on taking questions on how to deal with the new rules.
People were coming on asking important and relevant questions about work, going out and all the rest of it, then it came on…
‘‘I was giving my dog the permitted one walk per day this morning, and I saw 4 people in the park in a group…should I report them to the authorities’’?
These ■■■■ s are even turning THIS into a snoopers charter ffs.
If the Army gets to the point of shooting on sight, I really hope they get a few of those type Roger Hunts whilst on their ‘patrols’ and cull them down a bit.
Had one driver this morning following me round the trailer trying to hold a conversation, I sped up he sped to ‘chat’… Luckily got in the cab closed window while he was still moaning.
Lads I know we love to moan but save it for tinternet in real world I don’t want to be anywhere near anybody with the only exception being the wife for risky coitus.

No, that wasn’tme.
I could be described as “trying to hold a conversation” as well as “risky coitus”, come to that.
Put it in the accident book as a “Near Miss” incident.
I’m a little concerned about those who where having an affair, will they be allowed to use their daily fresh air to slip the mistress one. No govt guidelines on this yet.

At this “average age of a driver” age - we’d be needing one of those unavailable oxygen cylinders - just for a quickie around the corner, alas
Of course there is the “two-edged sword” risk as well - I’ve worked Nights for most of the 30 years I’ve had my licence.
I don’t think that makes me “Richard the LoinHeart” whilst out and about on my shift, that’s for sure!

No close contact so no chance. We’ve all.got a life of chastity now.
And this explains the bog roll shortages. If we can’t have ■■■ due to closeness then there’s only really one obvious alternative
