Nothing in life is free.The NHS, education budget, and social housing budget were paid for out of the taxes imposed on my wages and spending.
I never used Social housing and as for the bank of Mum and Dad much of what I was left with after paying single person’s income tax went into paying a fair share of the mortgage and living costs.While those living in subsidised housing called me and my parents militants for demanding sufficient wages to cover a proper mortgage payment.
