This is my question, sorry if it sounds stupid for somebody, but I really need some help.
Thank for everybody.
go direct too the supplier then you wont need the broker but the supplier will probably tell the broker and the broker will probably tell ya to go do one then tell all his other broker mates wot ya done so it be harder for you too get work with another broker
Thank your for your reply, but I mean to find a job without a broker, because the rate is not enough to cover the daily expenses.
Thank you again.
Some of the questions being asked on this forum lately are unbelievable
ffs get walking around your ind est and look for work
It’s not what you know it’s who you know, without decent contacts you’re going to have to take the poorly paid brokers jobs or pack it in !
And if you believe established operators are going to tell you their best work then you need a reality check !
Its a fair question, I’m in a niche & not general haulage but even so can’t see how folks can survive on broker return load rate alone, but if you are a new company/OD you might have to go that route to set up, I did for a while, but you do need to get away from that as soon as you can & just use it for odd back loads & get your own contracts etc- even tho those rates are often low also, due to the huge competition out there & just the low rates folks seem to do stuff for.
iguana, thank you, this is what I try to do it.
Denis F , I know that nobody will tell me his customers, I just think how to improve the gross profit, because with load boards it is very hard to make some money.
Thank you everybody, Appreciate !
Orel you in the usa or uk as the systems of getting loads are different
