I have been trying to get a definitive answer for a holiday question.

I understand that each days holiday counts as 8 hours work (or 48 hours work per week) for the WTD, but I have been trying to find out how long a holiday day is. Is it 24 hours?

If I start at 07:00 and work 10 hours, does my holiday start at 17:00 or do I have to take a rest before I start my holiday? Do I start my holiday 24 hours after I have started work for the last time i.e 07:00 to 07:00?

When does holiday start (and finish)? Is there anything in the regulations? If there is, could you please tell me where?

There is no definition for the length of a holiday

The RTD, which does not seem to interest anyone except the larger companies, deems holidays as per day which again is not defined or per week which is defined as from sunday midnight to sunday midnight
