HMRC income tax back early

I’m sure you’re all quite happy that i enlightened you all those years ago about form P87. Even those that doubted me, and said i was full of [zb].
This is for those that have been in and out of work over the past year. Maybe the odd bit of agency work as and when you get it, A bit of ad hoc work for a local company maybe, Been stuck on a basic rate tax code (OT or OT1).
It probably won’t concern those that are in full time employment.

If you think you’ve been overpaying your PAYE tax and don’t want to wait for HMRC to get round to giving you YOUR money back in several months time, Then have a look at form P50.

every little helps.

Just to add that you shouldn’t be submitting a P50 for the current tax year before 5th April unless you know absolutely for certain that you will earn no more taxable income, whether or not it gets taxed, and that includes Jobseekers Allowance and Income based ESA.

Almost right, It’s ok as long as you don’t expect to earn any taxable income for the next 4 weeks.
