Hi Glenn R,
I saw this unusual car/truck in Long Preston , North Yorkshire in the 1980 s , It pulled into a lay-by near Hellifield , so I pulled up behind , and took a couple of photographs . The driver said it was a Leyland/Albion base , with an Austin/Morris bodyshell mounted on top . I tried to find out more details , but he was reluctant to give anything else other than what was obvious to see. Ill have a look for the photo I took , it might have a date marked on the back.
