It would cost too much for us to get our jabs, I’ve developed a natural immunity from working the border for over 8 years. :stuck_out_tongue:

goes to show who was listening in their cpc course.
highways have had the power to pull you for at least a year now.
Funny when I was doing my 1st aid and forklift driving test which all count for CPC not once was it mentioned about who has powers to stop you.

Not much cheaper, in fact, I’m paid more than a newly qualified constable, plus I’ve been doing the job for over 8 years, so I’ve gained a lot of experience. Add to the mix Traffic Officers on the motorway have been operating over 10 years, so your pollists must’ve been driving round with their eyes shut!

But a lot less than a properly trained and experienced traffic officer I’ll wager? I don’t recall seeing many newly qualified constables running round in Volvo estates/Range Rovers etc.

A newly qualified PC will be on £26k.

A newly attested PC starts on £19k

BossHogg was specifically talking about newly qualified, which is why gave that figure. Comparing like with like and all that.

Exactly, thanks for explaining the difference.
