Higher Speed Limits For Indiana & Iowa

Hi All,

The speed limit for rural sections on Interstates in Indiana has increased from 60mph to 65mph.

Meanwhilst in Iowa, the speed limit has increased from 65mph to 70mph, on rural sections of Interstates, with less tolerance and increased penalties for naughty people (alternative words used) who choose to ignore the revised limits.

Cheers!

Jim.

 Woo Hoo!!!

Bully

Whats the point with lower tolerances  Around here we always drive 10 mph over and as most divided highways have 65 mph limits we drive at 75 mph :exclamation:
BUT NOT FROM MONDAY AS THAT NEW FRIEGHTLINER HAS A 72 MPH LIMIT

Pat. your taking a big chance driving 75 mph in that old clonker. you are still driving a VOLVO arnt you?. whew you have more #alls than me. John T.

Yes and now all we have to do is faint when IL and OH increase their limits too.
I know the OH T/Pike is now 65 but I absolutely hate driving thru these 2 states.
