Hi, I’m new on here, can anyone give me any feedback on the new Backline Agency that has opened in Bridgwater. Do they really pay you if there is no work?
Under the Agency Workers Regulations if they use the Swedish Derogation, which means you don’t get the same rights as permanent employees once you’ve been at a place 12 weeks, they have to pay you if there’s no work. Downside is you can’t turn down stuff.

Im sure 2zulu doesn’t mean that agency in particular more like all agencies
Agencies will want you to sign to them they may well stretch the truth to breaking point in order to make them sound great.
So I think 2 Zulu means take salt with all agencies patter
I signed on with them in Yeovil about 15 months ago. They were gonna put me straight out on boxes. Still waiting
IF an agency is offering to pay you when “there’s no work”, then there will not only always be work, but you’ll not be able to pick and choose what of it you do either.
