Hi guys can anyone offer any advice. I work as a class 1 tramper and i live in Chester and was wondering if anyone knows of any class 1 hgv companies that do predominantly Scotland work?
Seems most I speak to don’t do much with backloads being tricky etc.

I’ve tipped wick , run empty to Inverness , then belshill , then Carlisle , then teesport , then Goole , finally got a load out of immingham , no idea what happened to the 50 miles empty max
Scotland can be a real pain to get backloads out of . Our work is mostly above the M62 but the majority of it would be in Scotland . The last few weeks have been very hard trying to get loads either back to Ireland or down into England where we can reload back to Ireland much more easily .We have been offered 25 loads to just above Dundee but cannot get a load out of the same area for a 4.4 m curtainsider or a flat either to Ireland or anywhere in England - customer dosen’t want us running back empty as they will have to pay the empty running but is also in a hurry to get their goods delivered - we will see what happens .
