Don’t rely on DVLA sending the forms to you.
All the over 45 drivers I know said that I would get them automatically but by last Friday (2 weeks before my 45th) I still didn’t have them.
Phoned them on Friday and have now got them, but its now a rush to get it done.
Medical is 17:20 tomorrow.
If you haven’t got the forms a month before, I would call.
I used a “Flying doctor service” They turned up to Barton lorry park and did half a dozen of us even supplied the forms!!! Only £48 It was “doctors on wheels” or something like it I think. Bottom line a lot cheaper than the local doc who wanted £120 and they were there next day
