dont chew me nuts if its already up.situated about halfway between newcastle and carlisle, turn left(heading towards carlisle)at the hexham roundabout, follow road over river.the lorry park signs tell you to go left at the mini roundabout, but i think its a tad tight that way,so go straight over and turn left into sainsburys car park.you will see trucks parked in this massive car/lorry park.you can use shower/toilets in the leisure centre in front of you, town centre is a few minutes steep walk, and there is everything in there, plus two supermarkets(one 24 hour)within spitting distance.thursday curry night for a fiver at witherspoons.
there is a small parking charge, and they do have people that check.tickets availible from machines on site.a few boy racers, but pretty good in general.
Can get busy sometimes but a good stop.Plenty takeaways and pubs handy.Nice place for a walkabout to kill time on a nice evening.
P.S. The nearest Chinese isn’t the best, walk further up for a better one.
