leaving uddingston (near glasgow)at 20.00hrs last night 7/9/04 going to wales.tipping in wales, leave wales and re-load birmingham.leave birmingham and tip in troon (ayrshire),re-load in troon and travel to mossend (nr motherwell) and drop trailer.
above details is a summary of a drivers work schedule.i won’t name the company nor the driver concerned, but i know for sure that there is no way he should be sitting in our depot at this present moment in time (19.00hrs)if he has taken his rest periods.as i don’t do the distance work and i would not like to even try and workout the time scale between these drops/collections.so if any of you wizkid’s would like to total up the hours driving and rest periods plus adding on the time for tipping and re-loading then i’d be interested to see your results.
[zb] impossible Unless you work for Taphaul (if they still exist )
I remember one of their drivers who subbed to Tesco (Brackmills) cutting our 2 day trunk to Calais, leaving at 8.00am and back in Brackmills at 11.30pm same night. No limiter and 2 tacho charts
He drove like the wind to Dover, straight on the boat, half a mile to store, change over and straight back on boat for Dover. Tesco had set the run at 2 days, Taphaul did it perminant from then on

You wouldn’t need two charts on that run I would have thought what with the breaks on the ferries■■?
RH were and still are doing changeovers in transmarck (2 km out of calais approx) in a day. you can do the train in 4hrs from nottingham. i get your point though pat, a nice steady two day run chopped into one by someone else.
