Hi guys I’ve responded to a request on our UK forum , this request is for information in trying to track a driver who gave a lady a lift from Castets to Rennes( who was found murdered in or near Paris) 1996 , just to clear things up the driver is not a suspect but could hold vital info regarding who the lady may have been in contact with .
I was asked if it was possible to get from Castets to Rennes during a driving day , if my memory is correct I thought that it use to take about 6 hrs. in 1996 as some of the toll roads hadn’t been open then, any input gratefully received. 
Not done that route for a while but I think it takes about 7 hours, depending on traffic etc
