Hi a few questions here…
I passed my Class 2 license in 2015 and passed my CPC in 2018 however have not used it since. I also got my tacho in 2018.
Would I still be able to apply for agency work? I have no experience in driving class 2 since my test.
I have always wanted to be a lorry driver however I currently have a well paid job with good hours and scared to make the switch over.
I would like to work agency on my days off/annual leave if possible and if I enjoy the work then start applying full time for jobs.
Is this a realistic option for me in your opinion and also would agencies take me on if I am only available a few times a month?
I am thinking of applying to Driver Hire in Swansea as I live in Ammanford.
Many Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.

CPC is valid for 5 years so your DQC should have a 2023 expiry date
Remember to comply with weekly rest rules so that means at least 45 off every other week and at least 24 off in the other weeks
Your normal job hours cannot be counted as rest
