Help please?

Hi all
Have to excuse me, I’m an experienced hgv driver of some 25+ years ( 15 on class 1 ) however, for the past 6 yrs I have worked for Interlink on permanent nights, basically trunking from 1 depot to the hub everynight, most boring job ever! I left in April to drive a van on days but that wasn’t for me. Just landed a nice tipper job, local to me with good start / finish times on days. I never learnt anything re digital tacho use etc as I had the same driving time night after night with no changing etc.

Here’s my problem …I have only ever used the Siemans type tacho digital reader but in my new wagon (06 plate ) there is a completely different type and I haven’t a clue what it’s called or how to use it properly and despite searching the web for the type / a user manual etc I can’t find anything. The tacho has a small draw which comes out 15-20 mm and you load your card into this then push it in.
Does anyone know the name of it / where I can find user manuals or advice on what does what?
Thanks in advance
Mark

Just remember now your a tipper driver, it’s 56 mph everywhere, and you get 5 seconds grace after the light goes red
