Hi all
Leyland daf rigid in for service last night and had to disconnect batteries
I get in this morning and sat nav / radio not working with a sign saying
Please input your password - password hint - work .
We have no manual with it ( lost typical ) spoke to previous driver of this vehicle he had it from new and said it arrived with all working so he put no password on it .
I have pressed small reset button which a colleague said to push but all that happens is screen goes blank for a few seconds then the same message comes up
It’s a Navgate pioneer .
Any body got any ideas or could point me in the right direction
Leyland daf trucks perhaps ?
Or Pioneer just hoping someone could help me on here first our local leyland daf dealer arnt the most helpful and I’m sure they will just say contact Pioneer
Thanks all would be a great help

Leyland Daf? Who are they?
Daf hasn’t been Leyland Daf since 1993.
You’re about 30 years behind the times buddy [emoji1787]

And if the password hint is work have you tried that or something related to your employer, their name or place they are based or something like that.

I know the manual for the radio is lost but has someone written down the password on the pack that contains the vehicle documents and it’s in the garage office or transport desk somewhere.
I know what you mean with no radio when driving,it’s good to get regular traffic updates and information on what roads are closed and so on.
I can’t suggest buying a cheap Argos hand held radio as that means tuning it all the time as cross counties and lose the signal.
