does anyone recognise this sprinter ,it’s a V6 auto ,iam quit interested in buying it , iam thinking it’s had some name peeled off and perhaps has been on wide load ■■■■■■ work or belonged to a heavy haulage firm in Scotland, any ideas much appreciated cheers Dan .
SW12 PZG is a White 2012 Mercedes-benz Sprinter 319 Cdi with a numberplate first registered in Aberdeen between March and August 2012. This Chassis Cab was first used on the road on Friday 29th June 2012. SW12PZG has also previously been associated with T600MGS
Think it was originally owned by MGS Logistics in Aberdeen.

This lot?
That picture has been taken in the altens industrial estate in Aberdeen next to the merc garage. So I’m assuming that’s probably who’s selling it. The merc garage is owned by TOM Vehicle rental.

Just be careful re the 7Gtronic gearbox, its the same as the ones fitted to the cars and can cost a fortune if they go wrong. Check to see if its had a gearbox service in its history file and if it hasnt, its a good negotiating point re price. New oil every 50k or so miles will really improve longevity…
Cheers will do ,just looking at what to do at the min ,the old 5 cyl has over 1.25 million ks on now although it’s like trigs brush ,I’ve had it from new ,we already got a 319 auto on 13 reg . I think in the end I’ll be ordering a new one with a manual box and 4-1 diff so to get the higher 7 tonne train weight .
Many moons ago the company I worked for needed an additional double drive in a hurry and we acquired an ex MGS F12.
I wasn’t very happy cos i was going to lose my nearly new F10 for a much older motor but as it turned out the F12 was absolutely mint inside and out and had obviously been very well looked after, I drove that motor for just over a year and it never missed a beat.

It’s wrong ,2 adds say it’s auto ,1 add says manual but look at the photos there’s no clutch pedal just a giant brake pedal ,also look at the light by the gear selector

Just going by TOM’s advert!
hold a bit in reserve if that 7g box goes bang…on a e class its 2k before you open the bonnet…the older boxes were bulletproof, but as usual, the newer one it technofiddly and needs a fluid change every 50k or so to prolong it…absolutely delightful when its working, but there will likely be no or little warning signs when it fails…id always be suspicious of anything from up north as there a mix of farmers and fishermen, both renowned for their miserly outlook to spending when not required.it never seems to be cheap when its north of glasgow.
