HELP Forgot to put card in

Camaron came on here to ask for help. That is what some of us did to to help him out.
I made loads of mistakes when first started driving.
The Op is not dumb.He wants to make sure what the right thing to do is.

As said just chill, big deal you put card in an hr so late not a crime you can drive without card! Just use print outs to proves times etc as the vdu will have breaks and stuff shown as you still use it as if cards in.

you didnt get stopped so only we no!!! Could of been different if you got pulled 2 mins later pulling onto motorway lol.

Now relax it’s not the crime of the century and no-one will make a film of it

Great Plot for Steven Speilberg’s Duel 2-

Camaron gets stopped by the Yankee VOSA’s & they find a 51 minute discrepancy, threatening him with Fines, Imprisonment & ultimately Execution. So he goes on a Rambo Style Rampage in his Volvo FM with a Single Axle Trailer (advertising Baby Wipes) eventually starting a Convoy with an Iconic Soundtrack before getting wiped out by a Tank whilst crossing the Border.

YOUR ALL GETTING FUNNY NOW
I GET THE POINT. THANKS
PEOPLE

villa:

I once like a nupty stuck my analogue disc the wrong way around, I just filled it in manually including where my breaks where on the times, I am sure a digi has a facility for this if say the digi unit fails (still dive my old wagon so dont use digi much)

I once lost a number of cards to a gust of wind on the M50 and on the occasional Friday I could perform the feat of time travel and it would be 5am the following day.

camaran,s public hanging tickets a fiver? jokin aside when next put card in take a printout for said day, manual entry sketch is easy bud it asks you, press yes go back to the said date then start time which was 0600 press to hammers till you noticed card not in easy as american pie dont worry about it the rope will be strong enough

Yeah and don’t let the bed bugs bite!!!

Forget about it, its been over 6 months.

Keep your “lost” digi card for 28 days, then throw it in the bin. no need to keep incriminating evidence on hand . :open_mouth:

You don’t need a printout. If you had the printout with you now and produced it to a VOSA officer they would likely do you for not handing it in on time. It would have had to be handed in no later than 42 days counting from the day after the incident. That means the latest you should have handed a printout in was 194/195 days ago so you really don’t want to have a printout or a manual entry on a chart from back then with you now. That’s just asking for trouble…

Unless it’s a case of false records/fraud VOSA don’t tend to go back more than 6 months anyway due to the Time Bar Statute and it’s now almost 8 months since the incident so you just need to forget about it.

You also don’t need to keep the card you lost and then found. It’s been reported lost and its been cancelled. All you are required to do by law when stopped at the roadside is produce your digi tacho card along with any required printouts and analogue charts covering the current and previous 28 days. Note the bit that says you have to produce your card. That’s all the regulations say, they don’t specify how much data must be on the card. It’s the required printouts and charts that must cover the previous 28 days and not the digi tacho card.

In summary, bin the card and forget about the printout then breathe and stop stressing. You’'ve nothing to worry about now.

See told ya
And ignore Tango as the only bug in his bed would me any of my ex’s :smiling_imp:
itchy now mate

ok thanks lads

Why carry a printout then hand it in? If I need to carry one then I take 2 printouts and hand one in straight away. Then bin my printout since its effectively a duplicate and has identical information as the one in the office

As for the mode switch defaulting to crossed hammers. I got 4 infringements when that happened plus of course. After my daily rest, my driving time was not reset so I had to take an early break to avoid ANOTHER infringement. All because it was hot and i wanted to open a window :unamused:

Since then I have ejected my card on a night out

Forget it the only way it may some to light if vosa checked you card against the company’s pay records ov via downloading the tacho head if it ever come to light just tell tell them what happened don’t try to wriggle out of it . slapped wrist at worse
