Having a nightmare trying to find a hella socket to normal ciga socket adaptor that will drop the voltage from 24to12v as well. Aqquired a roadtek one off ebay but that was broken before I even tried it! Any advice guys??
other retailers are available of course . And if you dont like the plug on the 24 volt end swap it for a hella plug . I’m sure the retailer on the link would do this for you for the price of a pint if you were in the shop itself . http://www.cb-shack.co.uk/roadtek-8a-plug-in-truck-voltage-reducer-dropper/

If you take the red end off the plug in the link it will fit straight into a Hella socket, the red end is an adapter to use it in a standard cigarette lighter socket

That one you’ve linked is a dual plug fits cigi socket or take red collar off fits hella
yes - I know its a dual fit plug . My experience is that dual fit plugs don’t fit that well leading to heat and melted wires . The OP wants a reducer for a Hella plug - thats why I sugested taking the dual fit off and replacing it with a dedicated hella plug .
Just get a short lead with a hella plug on one end and a cig lighter socket on the other to plug a dropper into, then you’re also covered if cab hopping. cb-shack.co.uk/hella-plug-to-cigar-socket/
I’m always dropping sockets. Bloody nuisance when you’re old and stiff cos they always end up somewhere bleedin’ hard to get at. Or did I misunderstand the title.
