Hell Drivers!

Add the date to your diary, or don’t I’m not overly fussed, next Saturday 29th of April at 1800 I’m going to hold a watch party via Zoom so we can all take part! If you don’t know what a watch party is it’s where we all watch a film together. The film…….the iconic Hell Drivers about a cowboy tipper company with a young Sean Connery! It’s great fun! See you then!

Yes fancy him putting effort into doing something that might bring traffic back to his website or doing something people might get enjoyment out of. Who does he think he is building something from the ground up. Let’s sabotage his efforts by posting a YouTube link. In fact get him.

I know. You wanna take a leaf out of gingo’s book and put the mockers on absolutely everything with none of the correct punctuation whatsoever. Right hand typing demoralising comments to anyone who’s getting off their arse, left hand down your pants… chugging your little warty knob.

^^^^^Paints a vivid picture doesnt he?

Sid James was in this film too. I paid a Bob to go and see it and walked home three miles after it.

I think a lot of the ‘‘Stressed out not got a minute to spare’’ teararse crew among us have already watched it and thought it was a training film.
‘‘How to be a top driver in your own mind, and achieve that 1st heart attack’’
…Hey ! maybe you should apply it to your CPC courses especially for them. :bulb: :

Im curious to watch it now.
I wish there wasnt so much unpleasantness on this forum.

It’s called…

Banter or ‘bants’ these days. Years ago when Hell Drivers was filmed, drivers had more than 15 minutes off a day and would frequent smoke filled cafes where the teaspoon was chained to the wall next to the big sugar bowl with lots of dried bits of milky tea in it. They’d order full fat English breakfasts, read The News of the World and talk to other drivers about, pay, women, football, beer and the quickest way to a certain drop.

They’d also take the pish out of anyone who looked gullible enough to swallow it.

Somewhere around the mid 80s (is my guess) when the mobile phone started to appear, logistics became a thing and the meal deal was invented, these wonderful places of English transport history began to disappear.
