Ok to cut the long story short i’ll explain best i can.
I’m wanting to leave college this year, as personally i think 5 years worth of doing business which has been crammed into 3 years is a bit much, and for those who are wondering how that works, i did 2 years of business at school, on top of a 2 year business apprenticeship at college, and moved upto college to do business, But at the minute personally business is wearing thin, and it isn’t my favourite subject. But i am leaving it till end of the term year so i leave college with something, Predicted getting pass but i’m aiming for distinction (A) Wanting to leave college with more then just a pass.
Anyway, i’m wanting to go onto heavy vehicle mechanics, now i’ve applied at scania and volvo, Scania i’ve not heard back from and it’s been a few weeks since, and volvo i sent an application to them a week or so, so i’m not expecting them to send a reply back so soon, and i contacted hargreaves training at leeds and they said that i had to be employed at a company before they could put me through the course, which i didn’t really get because i was told when they visited my school that they would be able to find me a placement, But it’s been a year since so things may of changed. Just hoping someone could point me in the right direction
I’m a hard worker, have worked at many companies through apprenticeship at college & my work experience and they’ve never said anything bad about me so must be doing something right
I live in west yorkshire, Near pontefract, So any help & advice you may have feel free to give me it. & i have had a day experience in a normal car workshop at wakefield college when whitwood was open if that helps any.
