Heart Attack and LGV license

Wow was it really 2 plus years ago i made that post. Though i would give you guys who wished me well an update. So it was 12 months after my heart attack that i passed my fitness test on the tread mill and shortly afterward got my class 1 licence back. The agencey i was with ( B/L ) were brilliant, went back to work 2 days a week then up to to 3 and some times 4 days which was a bit much on me and heavy on income tax as i now get the state pension. JULY 24 I took 2 months off to motorhome around Greece. What i did find was that stopping work has really slowed me down energy wise and as of yet i can not got motivated to return to parttime working. I must admit that i felt fitter working. Still just about to start a moho tour of the yorkshire dales. The lake district and then Scotland weather being ok for this before head to Spain for the winter. So health wise i am as fit as a butcher dog.

Glad to hear your health has been good. All the best.

At 65 after a quadruple its time to enjoy life family .

I don’t fully get this though you have a heart attack/ stroke etc. like one my mates you automatically can’t drive a truck untill your declared fit and healthy.
Yes I get it in a way
He also can’t drive his motorbike.
But can drive his car. Which happens to be. Freelander
I kinda get why can’t drive a truck as can cause some.damge of happened while driving.
But then again. You could cause as much damage if it happens while driving your car.
Personally if you’r declared un fit to drive it should apply to everything into your passed fit
