Hazard perception test difficulty

I have a week to see what tactic is best for me. Ive never scored over 70 though. Thanks for your replies.

click click click, pause, click click click

click—half second pause—click half second pause and click…don’t click more than 12 per clip as you could come out with 0 points…best to come out with 1 or 2 than zero…I was lucky enough to pass mine first time round but practiced loads with a dvd called the complete lgv & pcv theory and hazard perception test’‘‘AMAZON’’'…I got 98% in the multiple choice but dropped points on the hazard perception cause on 2 clips a dog run out in front and I never clicked…my first ever driving lesson for my car licence years back my instructor told me never to break for a animal cause you could endanger yourself and other road users…dvla need to sort this one out cause as a hgv driver you could put yourself and other people at great risk lamping your breaks on for a animal…no one loves dogs more than me but if I were carrying a load of steel or a big lump of granite etc and a dog or other animal runs out is squishywishy time I’m afraid to say…Best of luck !!

Couldnt agree more with you on this one. I’ve been alway taught this one too by relative of mine who holds professional driving licence and who’ve been teaching me since I remember.

ps…if you have time buy the dvd from amazon, worth every penny…but don’t over click !! like I say,if you score 0 that 1 or 2 points could have been enough for a pass…we all know the hazard perception test is what you call in the trade as B------S but you need to pass to get to the next stage,I actually said to the bloke in the test center after I got my pass that its like letting your kid race round a city in a high performance sports car cause he was good on the xbox… and on the clips make sure you break for the dog if one runs out cause dvla think a dogs life is worth more than a heavy goods driver by all accounts lol

Panic over! After applying all the tricks and tips posted above I am now averaging 75% instead of 60%
