I notice Clarington Coach and Haulage from Wigan at the side of that Volvo John.They used to carry a lot of mining equip for the NCB,have they pulled t’pin?
I used to get them mixed up with Clarendon Haulage,similar sounding name,from the same area I think.

One for Yappie here, I promised months ago to find a picture of one of P&L Barton’s Mercs which had a rock carrying body. They worked on sea defence at Morecambe but maybe Yappie can tell us more. The White Scania has a Lancaster address.
