Im happy doing my job, wouldnt do it if i wasnt, although i do get my off days from time to time, normally when im given totally unrealistic book in times and end up being late, feel as if ive failed if i dont get there in time even through no fault of my own.

You implied you know what I get paid at the end of the week, which no one but me and my bank know. And I’m perfectly happy with my wage thank you no matter what you think it is.

Actually not really, well for drivers anyway. This the pay is fairly ok. We’d all like more but it’s not brain surgery. Anyone could have a licence in two weeks. I’ve friends earning a fair bit less than me that spent years doing degrees. So no, I don’t agree with the sweeping ‘drivers should be getting more’ statement. Some are underpaid, some earn a lot for what they do and the rest of us are in the middle.

Couldn’t agree more. Also diesel should be about £3 a litre, because its worth every penny, without it you can’t get around

If you don’t like people voicing their differing opinions then why on earth post on a forum. As for what I get for driving across Europe? Well I’ve already told you I’m happy with my wage, and also told you you don’t know what goes into my bank each week. I’m happy I get a fair wage for what I do. Sorry, but that’s how it is for me.
