Right so not too bad then . Cheers

They always seem to be double manned and I would assume it’ll be as mentioned taking anything they sell into houses.

Of course that includes not being able to park in stupidly narrow streets so dragging down the road, people not clearing a route through laziness or trying for a compo claim, kids, dogs and all sorts of similar.

Not specifically done for them, but furniture deliveries are similar. Oh and god help you if they have an upside down house or a flat.

£13 definitely very much earned.

If your in shape go for it.

3 meter long work surfaces that weigh like 90+ kg are not uncommon.
For the love of god dont let the corners touch the ground or you will get it refused.

Not bad if guaranteed hours.
Done it in Manchester on agency, years ago double manned to Scotland then obviously off next day.Hard graft, sound if both get stuck in, long day if stuck with a lazy ■■■■■

I worked for magnet kitchens MK wincantons via agency…didnt stick it to long. Hard graft up stairs down stairs can’t get anywhere near property. Moody customers. No thanks…

I worked at bidvest / 3663 multidrop class 1/2 driver for 5 years before this and the above magnet job really made the 3663 job a doddle which it wasn’t.

My advice would be don’t bother.

My old fella had a Wren kitchen delivered in October.

2 blokes in a 7.5t. Got talking to them as I helped them shift the gear. Said they’d started at 4am out of Barton, got to us in Dewsbury at 5:45pm and still had 5 drops left to do. Now to me, with all the lifting (and some of those pre assembled units and work tops are fsking heavy) and driving that’s a long assed day.
2 of their 5 were in Cas/Ponty so a 20 min drive but the drive back to Barton would have been a good hour on top. To me they earnt their £13 ph that day, wouldn’t catch me doing it though.

I had similar. Had kitchen delivered from DIY kitchens Barnsley. ( Far superior and better and cheaper than anything. Bq Wickes etc offers)
I’m.in Manchester

My delivery turned up about 1830 2 Blokes in class 2 truck took them.roughly.jalf an hour to get it all in.
I looked in there truck got talking they still had 2 more delivered to do. .
But they did say didn’t start untill 11am
