I think the blue livery was Brian putting his own stamp on the old Company which he had assumed control of and look at that sheeting and roping, it looks like it had been “shrunk wrapped” onto the load, the Lad that did that job certainly new his stuff ! Top man no danger ! Cheers Bewick.
Who says Southern lads can’t rope & sheet, Dennis?

Ah! but hang on there ROF ! it may have been one of Brian’s ■■■■■■■ or Scottish based drivers that produced that fine example and in any case the firm was based in the SOUTH WEST so cannot be classed as a “Suvern based outfit” Cheers Dennis.
Dead on Bewick!
I’m a Devon boy and nobody should confuse the South West with the Sarf.

My apologies, chaps. I was adding to the popular misconception that “Anywhere South of Birmingham is Southern”.
That makes you a southerner then rof . Obviously being granted temporary asylum in macc you are learning the error of your ways . Were you aware that the site of macc hospital and the housing next door were the site of a large insane asylum ? As my dear old mum used to say " You’ll have me in macc one of these days " Just a little local trivia for your enlightenment . dave
Indeed, rigsby, my late father-in-law ended his days in there.
However, I class my own background as being, “English Mid-West”. Since boundary changes in the 1970s I believe I am also entitled to be called a “Dean Forester”, although that description may involve my chasing various pigs and bears, not to mention those good-looking sheep! (local folk lore!)

I dont know why u put up another pic of the Foden!!!
Quote The Foden has a 8 LX 240 Gardner,“Not a 6LX” That was the only Foden Brian had in the Fleet.
Brian Harris started his own Livery back in the 70s wen he brought a Seddon 4 Wheeled Tipper of his own,
Then sumtimes he would choose which Livery to go on a certain Wagon…
Norman Croad,Torquay.

why is brian wanted in scotland ?
What I was told true or not, was rate cutting, really can’t see that with the service he gave and the nice fleet he had, I think it was just them in skirts loosing money and getting the hump about it.
