Roger Breaker:
Interesting to see G24 GNG. I used to drive G30 GNG for a few years, an R113.320 6x2 tag unit. Also both the units in the photo have East Anglian reg’s, NG being from Norwich, and BJ from Ipswich.
ex james baker motor, interesting its badged as a 143 v8

This thread is getting complicated!!!
You’re not wrong there!! Just to clear up my bit from weeks ago, and to make it a little more complicated i’ve never had the pleasure of driving G24, only the displeasure of driving G30.
But as it turns out that G24 is in fact a 113.360, then yeah, you’re right Mat, very interesting!

REF:KINGSFLEET
Kingsfleet is now owned and has been for sometime by a very close friend of mine,we still try and work very closely with each other.
The Crazy Gang nickname came about when i use to have some trucks working for a company in oostende and the name has just stuck around.
The three silver scanias use to belong to corby chilled,I came across them from a friend how is the salesmen for truckeast in Felixstowe he came up with a deal i couldn’t refuse.
I DIDN’T THINK IT WOULD BE LONG BEFORE THIS WAS MENTIONED.
SO I WILL TRY AND EXPLAIN THE STORY GO’S LIKE THIS.
BACK IN 2004/2005 WE WERE REQUESTED BY VOSA FOR THE CHARTS COVERING A SIX MONTH PERIOD. TO WHICH WE SUPPLIED THEM WITH 744 CHARTS OVER THE NEXT THREE AND A HALF YEARS MYSELF THE COMPANY AND SIX DRIVERS WERE CHARGED WITH DIFFERENT OFFENCES RELATING TO TIMES IN AND OUT OF THE PORT OF FELIXSTOWE NOT MATCHING THE CHARTS.IT FINALLY COME TO COURT IN IPSWICH ON THE 21ST OF JULY FOR A TWO WEEK TRIAL AT THE END OF THE TRIAL THE COMPANY AND MYSELF WERE EQUITED OF ANY OFFENCES WHAT SO EVER AND FULL COSTS ARE TO BE AWARDED TO THE COMPANY WHICH IS MANY THOUSANDS OF POUNDS.
REFERENCE DRIVERS
OUT OF THE SIX DRIVERS THEY WERE CHARGED WITH OFFENCES STARTING WITH FOUR OFFENCES BY ONE DRIVER AND 15 OFFENCES BY THE WORST DRIVER OVER THE PERIOD THAT THESE OFFENCES APPEARED IT WAS ONE CHART EVERY TWO AND A HALF WEEKS THAT DIDN’T MATCH THE DOCK GATE IN AND OUT TIME. THE DRIVERS WERE FINED 60 POUNDS AND FOUR RECEIVED COMMUNITY SERVICE AND TWO WERE TAGGED FOR TWO WEEKS. CURRENTLY OUT OF THE SIX DRIVERS THERE IS TWO LEFT WORKING FOR US.
PS THESE CHARTS WERE TAKEN AT A TIME WHEN THE WIND AND DISRUPTIONS TO THE PORT ARE AT THERE WORST AND WE STILL HAVE NO WRITTEN EVIDENCE OF HOW WE SHOULD DEAL WITH OPERATION STACK. HOPE THIS ANSWERS ALL YOUR QUESTIONS.
You won’t get told how to deal with operation stack. I do recall in the late 80’s(I think or was it early 90’s) when the country had really bad snow and you could run 24 hours a day seven days a week in the month of January, as long as you took your rest break of 45 minutes and didn’t exceed your driving time of 4 1/2 hours at any time, to help catch up with the work load. Pity they don’t have this as a dispensation for operation stack.
JOBE:
HAVE GOT PHOTOS ON PHOTOBUCKET BUT THE REST DOESN’T SEEM TO BE HAPPENING!!! HELP
Hi mate, what you need to do is this:
create a post on this forum, and also have your photobucket page open.
on photobucket, you’ll notice that under each thumbnail there are four fields: one is called ‘IMG code’. If you go to the photo you want to post, and click in the ‘IMG code’ field underneath, it should say ‘copied’.
Then go to your trucknet post and simply paste the code.
It should start with and%20end%20with
Happy posting. PS I looked at your photobucket page, and noticed this:
