Any one remember H Sibbons LTD running out of Canning Town London, started in 1922 & they moved out of there in 1983?
H Sibbons was my granddad & Dave Sibbons is my dad. Thanks
I remember your grandad he had a load of AEC then Atkis ans ERF I also remember your Dad when he had tipper and Jack shunting in Barking Containerbase and when he had his Dafs on Dagenham Storage .

I remember h sibbons of canning town because my father worked for them.he would take me there on a Saturday morning to help him,cut tyres,jet wash the wagons.if my memory serves me right they had two work pits at the back & a old wrecked aec in the yard.dave started on his own at dagenham storage.he also had two British leyland road trains at spillers.i was made to lay under it & spray easy start till I got a lung full of diesel fumes.fond memories,met daves son when I got a job in hays distribution.
Worked for Dave Sibbons right up to his retirement in the 90s.My father worked for him from the sixtes

Who was your dad? Those were the days at the yard! Yea my brother Steve worked at Hays

My grandad was David Sibbons (sadly passed away in 2020) and my great grandad was Harry Sibbons.
