Gretna dog track. Don’t know if its been mentioned before but worth a visit. Food and drink available and reasonably priced. Nice and quiet too.

Northbound A74 Gretna Green turn off (A75), take the A75 towards Dunfries, and the dog track comes up on your left after 1/2 mile, you have to turn left then left again when you see it. signposted Gretna.
Southbound, after Gretna services, come off the 74 the road bears left, then turn immediate left at the Old Blacksmiths, up to t junction, left again, over the A75, turn right, join A75, then directions as above. Less than 5 mins from the A74.
