Singer wise I’d say a toss up between Freddie Mercury & Paul Rodgers who takes the crown. With Robert Plant a close 3rd. Tina Turner definitely up there also.
Personally I rate Clapton aswell when he was on song.
Purely my opinions lol, like someone said so many great front men.
Robroy. Ain’t nothing wrong with George Michael. When Praying For Time gets played on the radio it gets volume 11.
Sure Liam Gallagher, or might have been Noel said in an interview once that that was one of his favourite tracks.
Ok,.I got away with George Michael …
Here’s an even bigger controversial curve ball.
Pop singer more than rock btw.
Andy Bell from Erasure.?
His range is unbelievable, just try singing along or going on Karaoke with ‘‘Respect’’ I defy you to hit the notes that he can.
In the 80s he had the look and image of a very cool young gay guy.
Saw him other week on tv just looks like a fat old ■■■■.
Christ he’s let himself gan.
(If that is homophobic to some I make no apologies because I say it safe in the knowledge I am.the very LEAST homophobic straight guy you could wish to meet. ) ) …it is just an observation. ) )
robroy:
Heard this on radio today, it reminded me…David Coverdale of Whitesnake.
Ex Deep Purple,.a Newcastle Utd fan, and a Geordie who is even more posher than Sting. youtu.be/WyF8RHM1OCg
Posh Geordie ? He’s a posh smoggie from Saltburn by the Sea.
Is he by ■■■■?
Didnt think there was such a thing as a posh Smoggie.
You’ll be telling me next he has a box at the Riverside…I had him down as a Geordie seeing as he’s a fellow Toon fan,.(I’m doubting that now)…but one who had lost the plot like Ant and Dec rocking up at StJames’s in their best suits.
My favourite Joe Walsh track is Rocky Mountain Way.
Saw him perform that and Lifes been good at The Eagles gig I went to.
Here he is performing it with the Eagles in 77
(Best ever Eagles line up btw…Henley,.Frey,.Meisner,.Felder and Walsh.)

Female singers, Cilla Black, Lulu, Bonnie Tyler, all powerful voices.
Linda Ronstadt, Cher, Kate Bush, …and my personal favourite (although maybe for all the wrong reasons ) Kim Wilde.
