Is it just ex-forces who cant reverse, or do civvies when they just start a new job like trucking sometimes struggle as well?

But he had been driving artic for over 7 year as in the forces they have banksmen a lot of the time
As I said the list was endless he was ok going forward but dont ask him to go & load as expected that done for him couldnt couple up stopped at 12 for lunch regardless stopped at 17.00 as was time to stop
Do you really want me to go on with the list

Not my firm my old boss employed him think he learnt his lesson
But form what I heard at the time he gave a good interview being ex forces & all this experience etc
You dont always know what some drivers are like till you employ them some are good some not so good
Smudge, nice 1 on the new job, easiest job in trucking but with a nice learning curve. Every railhead, every port and every delivery is different - even when they’ve got the same name.
Ask questions, follow others and don’t panic. 'Tis all good

i know plenty of ex-forces people who are now driving trucks for a living, and i have never met one that has proclaimed to ‘know it all’
you will find that there are a number of members on here that are ex-forces too, LeeG for example, admittedly, he’s a ■■■■■■■■ too

I would not critisise too much when you cannot even write a legible post.From experience the ones that knock others are not very good themselves.

Right i will try to keep this thread on topic* and just say congratulations on the getting the job! As spanky says where you running out off? If your down Felix give us a shout and ill get the first (im a skinflint you see 
) coffees in down there! As said previously, if in doubt then ask as you will always find a friendly face who will help.

Ive met more “drivers” that think they are the be all and end all than ex service personnel!! Im a great advocate of the fact that every day is a learning curve. I havent carried every load going, I havent been to every customer etc. Even after three years of having C+E I will still ask to hopefully prevent me stuffing up! Shut up Shuttle!!
