Got a parking ticket at birch

Maybe if enough drivers stop paying they will build more shops on the lorry parking and let us all park in laybys for free.I think i read somewhere that it cost £24 million to build wetherby services they need alot of trucks to pay for that much better to get rid of them.

Are you a mouth breathing oxygen thief, an autopost, a figment of the site ops imagination or what?

WTF are you on about?

I will put it in words for you to understand if you dont want to pay dont park there they have to make money as well.

Chas:
What’s the penalty for No no.plate?

“I can assure you it was there when I started my journey officer”.

Why ? :unamused:
Are you a night trunker ■■ :sunglasses:  :open_mouth:

Company logo and trailer number on back doors may still be a giveaway

they make plenty. inflated fuel, tobacco, and food prices covers their huge profits. truck parking charges hardly makes a mark in the profits.

ROADRANGER:
Being a poor and destitute owner driver, I don’t pay to overnight on msa’s.
To avoid getting begging letters and the subsequent moaning from the wife, I have found that since the change to anpr cameras, the best thing to do is to cover the last digit of the front plate with,of all things, the sleeve of a m&s ready meal.
This has worked fine, untill now.
I have received a begging letter from cp plus,as a result of parking overnight recently.
The anpr camera now takes a picture of the rear as you leave. (cunning barstuards)
Mental note to ones self to turn plate around.
Point being, has anything changed since October, with regard to them needing to have the name of the driver?
Or is it still safe to ignore the threats?

Sorted then will remove both before i pull in then as important not paying to park lol

Let them chase you its no like a council who would literally spend 3k in legal expenses to get a 60quid fine its a private company with targets to meet. They will send you a hundred letters with red ink threatening you.

Stick a food carton in your rear plate too, once you get upto 56 it will most likely vibrate out.

Since clamping has been outlawed in England private parking companies have greater powers to go after the owner of the vehicle rather than the driver.

They have no more powers than they had before. It still is a speculative invoice.
