Good Roping & Sheeting, Errrr NOT

A made-to-measure  sheet covers this load of animal feeds on the hard-worked Foden .
Theres even a cut-out section on the sheet to gain access to the diesel tank filler cap. Very thoughtful . :unamused: It is obvious that Dennis hadnt checked the sheeting that day. :unamused:

Photographed on Malta , a couple of weeks ago.

Cheers , cattle wagon man.

I realise that the “Dales” hauliers would identify with this “mess” and feel at home with it,OK then but why use a sheet in Malta which only gets 2 inch of rain per annum :unamused:   Dennis.

During our fortnight on Malta , there were only two wet days ,…and more than 2" of rain fell on both of them !!

The reason for the sheet , is to stop the scavenging seagulls and pigeons from pecking holes and fattening themselves until
they cant fly . The Maltese folk arent too keen on seagull/pigeon for their main diet !!

Cheers , cattle wagon man.

What sort of feed was it on the Foden CWM ? Dennis.

Livestock feed . Sorry , but I dont know what type . Too many frustrated seagulls/pigeons hovering overhead to have a peep under the sheet . Didnt want splattering on holiday . :unamused: :unamused:

There weren’t many fat lads on general ROF, all the fat illigtimos were either on night trunk or in the office. Regards Kev. tongue in cheek and tin hat in place.
