Shouldn’t be behind the wheel of a truck? what if he was pushing a trolley in Asda? would you say he should be banned from shopping? The sooner some of you lot stop worrying about your reputation and how good you look sat in your truck the better.
It is because we are so nice and accommodating that we are totally taken the ■■■■ out of by just about everybody we come into contact with. RDC goods in staff know they can be as rude as they like to us because we will generally not retaliate because all we want is to get tipped and on our way so we bite our lips. Car drivers think its hilarious to brake test us and perform other mind boggling stunts just to prove they are better than us and all we do is slam on to avoid them rather than letting them have the full 44 tonnes up their arses which they clearly want.
Have the liberals still not learned that being nice to everybody just is not working? maybe we should try the old disciplined way because it certainly worked for most of us.
The lorry driver didn’t lay into the car driver for nothing. We are animals at the end of the day and animals fight. Nobody on here can say that they have not wanted to do this at least 5 times a day so hats off to one that actually had the balls to do it. I’d give him a pay rise if he worked for me.
If car drivers are big enough to use their motors as toys and play with the big boys then they deserve to get hurt or at least taught a lesson. Car drivers don’t have to be professional and polite to us so why should we offer them such manners? If the ■■■■ you off and start playing games then they are fair game in my book and no I don’t work for you so please don’t preach to me if you are one of the do gooders who would jump out of their cab and hug the golf driver.
I’ve signed in to facebook and still can’t see the vid’. I’m pee’d off cos I’d like to see a smartarse prat getting his just desserts. I’d sooner see someone like the lorry driver than a sandal knitting no nothing prick being lovely to everyone.

Actually, I don’t feel the need to have a fight at least 5 times a day, in fact I don’t feel the need to have a fight at all…

Didn’t imply that you need to have a fight, I said that you will have wanted to rip someones head off, that does not mean to say you would actually do it.
Fingers wins the Internet for today! Nice work Sir.
I’d give that chap a pay rise if he was on for me, you can just tell even though there’s no pre amble the ■■■■ in the golf was asking for it, I’d bet money on it. The guy filming was even laughing.
Couldn’t defend himself? Err, he could’ve just carried on driving?
He’s obviously forced the bloke to stop giving it the big un & he’s got what he was looking for.
Such a shame it’s on camera really, poor bloke will pay.
Rule 1. No cameras, no witnesses.
Just to add, I really hate bully’s but I think a man that slaps a bully down should get a medal.
You can’t tell much from the video. This is clearly the end of something that started well before.
Its doubtful the golf driver deserved quite such a pasting, unlike posting the details for the company involved and the MD’s name and number so everyone can get all “Daily Mail” and complain. Its that kind of snitch-slag mentality that’s ruining this country.

I’m thinking of getting one of those dash cameras because of all the drivers on motorways doing 70-80k and then when you go pass them they speed up.
Why would a dash cam be of any use in that situation?

Well it would prove what went on before the incident i.e. if the golf cut the truck up or was shouting abuse back at driver as stated. As is its just ones word against another
But, I would say that if someone provoked me in such a way, I would take action.
It`s about pride, respect and being human.
Some allow the moment to take them over, others do it in different ways.
Whatever, these spineless cretins need teaching a lesson, if I have to be the teacher, then so be it.
I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback and he wouldnt take that, if a dog wont take it, then why should I?
Are there really people on this forum stating that we are a lower life form than a dog?..Are we all yellow?..Are we supposed to take the abuse given by another individual because they think they can give it?
I was bullied at school, thankfully I reared up one day and stood my ground and at that moment I decided that I would never be a victim ever again. I don`t go looking for trouble, but if someone wants to give it to me, then they had better be sure of themselves, because I know I am…And it is not about being ‘hard’ it is about being human.

Let me get this right. You get your dash cam. Next time a car speeds up when you try to pass it you get out and give the driver a good kicking. It goes to court. You produce your video evidence of the car speeding up and expect to be let off?

Yeah, I didn’t think the occupants of the silver Focus looked like coming to the VW’s defence so I’m guessing he’d been asking for it big time.
Like Wayne, I’ve been out a few times to politely point out to brake testers how dangerous it is. The weird thing is they never really have much explanation for it apart from you were slowing them down. I think the general driving public has little real idea how much abuse and dangerous manoeuvres lorry drivers are exposed to as a result of simply slowing some idiot that’s had a row with his missus down. If dodders in Micras had the same there’d be a Daily Mail national outrage.

My next door neighbour has a very large dog. This dog is calmness personified every time I’ve seen it. I do imagine though if I for some bizarre reason keep poking it with a stick it’ll eventually tire of this game and bite me.
Should this warrant the dog being put to sleep?
No but I recommend a DCPC module in defensive driving for him as a precautionary measure.

You are funny.
The incident referred to i.e. the assault.
As for cars speeding up when passing them who said anything about giving the driver a good kicking?? The video evidence could be used in court as proof against getting fined for overtaking on motorways

Bullies
Brake testers.
Cut inners (all types)
Undertakers (both road users and the profession (no offence))
Cyclists who think they own the road
Dangerous/unconsiderate cyclists and to a certain extant the same for Scooter riders and lesser extent Motorbike riders
Pedestrians as above
Drivers who don’t indicate, especially on round-a-bouts
Coffee bean shakers
Drivers who can only count to 1 as they only have a middle finger
Swerver’s
Road rage
Intimidaters (bullies?)
Unfortunately we now live in a society where lorry drivers (to be honest any one) who is the (constant) victim of the above (or any anti social behavior) is not allowed to be seen to meter out any form of justice/revenge no mater how much it’s deserved.
