Thanks for the message Dan…
Item finished- didn’t make the reserve. Had no reply to my enquiry, either.
Update- the tipper’s back on ebay, starting price £1,000.
I don’t think these have been on before, so yers another firm that’s disappeared into obscurity…
Don’t know where these pictures came from…

Hiya,here they are,Cheers Bubbs,
Some good photo’s showing Dicksons. I like the Daf 2800. I suppose the reason why it wasn’t blue was cause it was in the brick companies colour scheme maybe. I’m not a fan of the F86 but that looks quite good… Good pictures though…
I remember Kingston Minerals (just). Their yard was the (now vacated apparently) Total Fuels yard on the Lechlade Road near Fairford. When I worked for Smiths, there was a plant op’ who was Kingstons’ knavvy driver at Hardwick near Witney; He always said they were a good firm.
They had a (for the time) high powered Foden 8 wheeler used for a Welsh run. I think MGB drove it in later years for Davies Transport of Burford.

Nice pic CC ! Where was that taken ? regards Keith
Just been and had a look at an old ‘A’ series ERF and noticed the name on the door. Looks like H.C.Teakle & son, Stroud, Glos. Does anyone know who they were? Cheers…
