Gloucester services.

Muckles, point taken about the fast food rubbish, all the other motorway services are now copying Gloucester services, and doing the farm and market shop, Strensham has the Spar shop done out like a fake farmers market.
Fast food is ok when on limited time for tacho breaks are getting tipped on time, but when you have time for a decent meal, Gloucester is the best for food and meals, a bit pricey, but you pay for quality and local food , which helps small businesses in the area.
Try their single or double Machiata coffee, it will wake you up.

Nodding Donkey, you are talking rubbish, there is nothing wrong with Gloucester services showers, always hot water and clean when I have been there, the parking is free, but you would rather pay at Mickey Woods and get the fast and greasy food rubbish
Adonis, if you can’t get your artic in and out of the Hgv pumps, hand back the license tp Dvla.
Raymundo, he is refering to the packaging and wrapping of the food that gets thrown on the roads.

The parking isn’t free at Gloucester.

Better re-read my comment about the fuel pumps too, dobber breath.

Last time I stopped in the northbound services there were no signs informing drivers that they had to pay, knowing how dull lorry drivers are I think they decided to save some cash on signs and relied on drivers going into the services and asking if you had to pay.

Regarding the pumps you can fill up but it will be a blindside reverse out, so as Toby said if you cant do that hand back your licence.

Northbound, there is no need to reverse, I’ve driven out forwards with a standard length artic, though they are certainly far from ideal. Southbound, not sure as I’ve never stopped in the garage part.

I’ll assume you include yourself in the dull lorry drivers part, since you haven’t read what I posted regarding the pumps either.

Got your handbags ready ladies? It’ll soon be dawn and you can settle this spat personally.

Come on girls you’ve had 8 hours off. Time to get on with the handbag swinging.

" Dobber breath ". Tea spilt everywhere!!

Adonis, the parking is free on the North and South bound Gloucester services, the signs that say free parking for two hours are there to stop people taking the mickey and staying for hours or days.
You are not forced to pay to park, it is voluntary, its £ 23 with a £ 5 meal voucher.
There are no warning signs to inform you that they obtain the vehicle keepers address from the Dvla to send an INVOICE not a fine or a penalty.
If you do not believe me, ask the manager there what happens if you don’t want to pay, the answer is nothing.
What a child you are for calling people names when you throw your toys out the pram.

Poor, very poor. Disappointed if I thought you might be a worthy troll. But you are not.

There is something sublimely narcissistic about picking a forum name of ‘Adonis’ , when you are a spotty 14 year old, pretending to be a trucker…

No, parking feez are rigorously enforced, and the showers are disgraceful. Avoid at all cost.
