DO NOT take anything bigger than an 18t in there.
I took a 42ft down that road and it took hours to get back out. You are lucky to get anything into the gate and god help you turning in the place.
There are buses sat inside but to turn a wagon it’s very, very hard.
The area is FULL of pikies too.
Try Westway in Renfrew, it’s very heavily guarded with reasonable local facilities.
I would strongly advise you not to park at the place you spotted!
Safe parking in Glasgow 
not been up there for a few years, but when I was there I never found it and to be honest never expected it. I gave up and stayed on the outskirts.
Never heard of it until now just googled map it and that is in the heart of ■■■■■ land, make sure when it says 24hr security - there is actually 24 hour security.
i have googled it to and yes full of ■■■■■ site and fair ground trucks. So i am giving it a wide berth and taking stagedriver advice and stopping at westway hoping they have they have showers ? too

thought there was safety in numbers. It did have a cafe, washhouse and bar.

called the travellers rest i use to stop there too but it is all shut up now i have been told you can park still but no shower or toilet
Safe parking near Glasgow, er Penrith or Tebay 
Honestly it is much better than it once was. I have parked quite often for the weekend in various strange places and never got mugged or killed.

That used to be a decent place to park, had a night club next door… Think its just a car park now… i always used to give myself 45min and go back to Lesmahagow or Hartshill J4 to 5 on the M8… Although never used to get bothered when parked on the road outside Makro paisley J28, you just had to put up with Russells going in and out of there yard all night.
hi, the only safe parking in glasgow i know of is at paisley,you come off i think its j37 down to roundabout come back over the m8 then down to the lights turn left down to a big ind est, there is parking there with security and i think a shower,last time i was there it was 5pd.
