A truck driver (44) was seriously injured in the Monday night in Frechen: When making coffee in the cab! At 23.45 clock a witness called the police because he had observed an explosion on the Hermann Seeger street. When the officers arrived on the spot, they found the badly injured inside.

Apparently he had tried to prepare with the help of a gas stove for coffee, as it came to a sudden explosion. Presumably the boiler had a leak through which the gas had spread before ignition. The cab was destroyed. Damage: 90,000 euros

Edit: well at the cost of the damage hope he is alright tho, maybe next time he will take a flask of hot water with him

reminds me of a uk driver a couple of years back had a gas leak all night in is cab woke up in the morning and lit a ■■■ the hole cab went up only reason he survived was because a foreign driver dragged him out, he burnt all is lungs aswell has he had been breathing the gas in all night and he received 90% burns to is body and face…
