hi people could anyone point me in the right direction for a printable copy of the old log book style hours record as used by Germany for light vans, and if possible with an English translation.
Why bother with them, never once been asked for one driving a van in germany.
neither have I before but started to move items wider than the truck which stands out like a sore thumb so thought I might try to stay legal.
But is it for hire or reward
Have a look HERE

yes it is.

tried to scan mine to show you, but all ive managed to do is reduce the size of this page to half of my laptop screen ■■? another job for the grandkids
Never used one anywhere. Even got stopped by the German Police and never asked for one.
You don’t need a log book just a record of days’ rest but think this is just a german only thing, i just use to sign a form and tick a box to say what kind of day off it was and carry them with me. Was written in Englisch und Duetsche.
You can use your Diary if you’ve got one,was told that by a very good English friend who lived in Germany who ran a van for 14 yrs.
According to German law you also should have a fixed bed if you want to sleep in a motorway services and an Eberspacher between October and April…!!
